  1. KJ, thanks for posting this LP
About a week ago I requested a re-up of it(but got no response) on another blog that posted this LP so glad you posted it.
Considering the review below and that the LP tends to sell for about $100.00 I was surprised it sounded so Gospely to me.

Here's a text file for it:

NEW WINE (CA) -Holy Spirit Express (Anodyne SW1048) 1972 or 1973

With its payload of spirited electric folk-rock and heavy fuzz rockers, Holy Spirit Express is the exact type of record the private press psych collector craves. This particular New Wine hails from San Diego and consists of one girl and four guys, three of whom have seriously long hair. The fact that they do a version of Wilson McKinley’s gripping psych classic ‘Spirit Of Elijah’ ought to say a lot right there. Good amateur home-made garage sound alternating male and female lead vocals, with an abundant supply of electric guitar riffs. Just the basics here acoustic and electric guitars, bass and drums – no keyboards. They appear to also have a fondness for The JC Power Outlet, as they do two of their high-energy songs. ‘Suddenly’ and ‘A Long Time Coming’. Other covers include Mylon LeFevre’s ‘You’re Still On My Mind’, Larry Norman’s ‘Hexagram’ and the ballad ‘Sparrow’ (i.e. ‘His Eye Is On The Sparrow’), the latter also by way of Wilson McKinley. Some of the other songs appear to be originals, such as the fuzz power rocker ‘Reap What You Sow’ and the closing rural ballads ‘Reality’ and ‘Jesus Will Last’. Certainly worthy to be grouped with other modest monsters like Joyful Noise’s Electric Gospel, The Bridge’s Hallelujah and Rainbow Promise. (The Archivist by Ken Scott, 4th Edition).
