Sorry. I remember reading an article in ccm or heaven's metal about the Rowe's being from Ohio and starting a band named Tempest and a demo with that name. Well, sorry about the first post.

ReplyDelete🎼 🇺🇲 YES there was 2 Christian ✝️ Metal bands with that same name. One was the band from Indiana fronted and led by Mick Rowe / Lead guitarist-vocals main songwriter & arranger who recruited 15 yr. old brother Jamie to sing lead vocals.
ReplyDeleteThe other was a Thrash Metal band who just happened to call themselves "Tempest" as well, hailing from just outside Cleveland, Ohio and led by Warren Harris - 🎼Bassist Extraordinare / Lead Vocalist and main songwriter/ Arranger ×who were also sending out demos in hope of securing a recording contract. Then a new up an coming label called PURE METAL liked the band from Ohio so they sent out contract information, but somehow sent them to the other band from Indiana by mix up and then the Tempest from Indiana signed and submitted contract papers and Pure Metal signed them not even realizing they had signed the wrong band. So subsequently & regrettably the guys from Ohio got the raw end of the deal and Indiana band got a two record deal......🤔😳😬😲😔!!
